  3. this is version 1.01 of MagiC64.

  6. Two major bugs in the first version of MagiC64 were reported:
  7.  
  8.     - On A1200 MagiC64 complained about wanting an 68020.
  9.       Of course an A1200 has a 68020. The wrong bit in the
  10.       execbase was tested. Mea Culpa ! This should be fixed
  11.       with this release.
  12.  
  13.     - Many people with 68030 Amigas had problems. Especially
  14.       turbocards for the A1200 like the Blizzard boards seem
  15.       to crash the emulator. Some people stated that changing
  16.       from "Amiga Screen" to "Amiga View" in the "Graphics"
  17.       menu removed this error. So this is now the default in
  18.       this release. On the other hand: I tested the first
  19.       release with a 50 Mhz 68030 Blizzard Board in an A1200,
  20.       it ran without any problems. People with A3000 seem
  21.       to have no problems, too.

  23.       I don´t have direct access to an Amiga with 68030 (the
  24.       emulator was developed on a A4000), so I can only guess
  25.       about another possibility for this error:

  27.       The diplay procedures fetch some data longwords from ODD
  28.       addresses. This is allowed on CPU´s bigger than the 68000,
  29.       so no problems should occur. Some turbo boards could
  30.       catch accesses to these addresses by hardware, for
  31.       staying backward compatible. So if your 68030 board have
  32.       an option for turning off this (by hardware or software),
  33.       please use it.

  36.       a few days.
